They met on November 21st 2023!
 The night they met, Tess was coming down from USU to visit a friend (who was going to BYU) at a “Friendsgiving” party. Brandon was also attending BYU, and had only been home from his mission for about 4 months. They met through mutual friends that night, where they spent the majority of the time talking to each other. Brandon pulled Tess aside and asked if she wanted to leave the party and go on a date that same night! They ended up “scootering” around downtown Salt Lake and ended up at the capitol. This is now considered an important spot to them…Where it all started! (A little down the road, this is also where Tess knew that she was in love with Brandon!)

Their first kiss was on December 2nd!
After being out with friends and going sledding for their second date, Brandon made the first move!😘

“I love you”
 Tess wanted to tell Brandon that she loved him, but was stubborn and kept to herself (but dropping hints) until Brandon said it first. One night after being out together, they ended up talking for a while in Brandon’s apartment…she could tell that he wanted to say it. After a few attempts, and changing the subject…out of the blue he told her that he loved her! 
She said it back of course 🥰

After getting into an “official relationship” & with a few serious conversations, they both were on the same page and knew what they wanted. Even though the couple weren’t necessarily “looking for something” at the time, God’s timing fell into place for them. It really does happen when you least expect it! What really “sealed the deal” was when Tess visited Brandon’s family for the first time out in Florida! There, she felt instantly connected & welcome. Not only did she fall more in love with Brandon, but she fell in love with his family and his home town! 
She loves his family & he loves hers. 

The couple have had multiple people comment on how well they “click” and compliment each other and they can truly say that they are marrying their best friend! 🫶
